Hello, and welcome to my new section: Jim’s One. One nice thing that I like, or did or saw..or..you get the idea. The only requirement is that it has be nice.

I had this idea because there’s lots of newsletters or sites on the internet about news. You can read about real news and you can read about stuff other people do or god knows there’s a listicle about 24 nice snow shovels and what to buy but because this is my newsletter and not a corporation I get to decide what’s nice and I think that stacking cheerios is a great way to start.

What is Cheerio Stacking?

Glad you asked. At the table, the wee one and I have breakfast and we usually play the “don’t eat my cheerios routine” in an effort to get the breakfast over sooner because OMG the time it takes some times for a 3 year old to finish a bowl of cereal.

Anyway, the other morning we decided to alter the game so that we would stack the cheerios one on top of the other and and if it fell - she had to take a bite.

Because Cheerios are not the most even surfaced and not even the same size when you’re talking individual samples it’s actually kind of hard to stack cheerios. Who knew?

3 can be had most of the time but getting 4 stacked is hard and five? Yeah, no way. Not happening - at least for us.

And there we are. The first

of many things I like and want to remember.

Be Nice. Subscribe.
