Cars and Trucks and Dogs and Meltdowns
A weekly update of sorts. Issue Number 1.
Welcome to the first of what might be a weekly(ish) thing - but we shall see about that. I make no promises as it’s early days but I will try.
So that said, here’s a roundup for this week:

Cars Cars and More Cars
I have started to photograph and sell on eBay my deceased father’s diecast car collection. I actually started this a year ago, but life kind of got in the way. I sold probably 100 of them already so the first photos I post are already long gone and they don’t live with me any more.
I have created a separate section so hopefully the car posts don’t show to those that are not interested. I think i have this setup right. Anyway - cars. Lots and lots of cars to come. You have been warned.
Meltdowns of the Week
I also wrote about adventures while apple picking and how the dog ate her leash because she’s such a good dog.1 This dog is such a pain in the ass. I have started her training with a professional trainer so hopefully in about a months time I will be able to write about my well trained dog. 2 She was cute when she was a puppy though:
My rant this week was about Surveys. Enough with the surveys already!
Also, I made a nice photo:
Lastly, I went and got a booster shot for Covid-19 vaccine.
because dying would suck.
Stats and Such
This probably interests me because I am the only one that cares but I thought I would share the progress this week of how things are going. And, because it’s the first week of writing this there really isn’t much to talk about here. I see these newsletters with thousands of subscribers 3 and then get a little depressed if I start to compare.
But I am going to keep plonking away here. The internet seems to start to know this newsletter exists and I even got my very first subscriber earlier this week - so that’s a big deal too. A very big deal actually. I have an audience! 4
I guess that’s it for this week. I have yet to find a real rhythm for writing yet as this is nothing more than a lark and I have a bit more time than usual to spend in front of a computer.
To my very first (and only) subscriber: Thank You. Have a good week - Jim
ha! I wish
god, I hope so.
admittedly small, but an audience all the same.
